The steel Gancini buckle is made from raw ungalvanized steel, produced through a zero-waste production technique and polished using a process that recovers and recycles wastewater, while the custom patterned sole is made with 25% bio-based TPU content and sewing thread is made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. The upper is stitched by hand as part of an artisanal process known as “Tubular”, an exclusive method used only by experts to ensure a supple and light finish.
